A Place to Be

We don't become whole by dismissing large chunks of ourselves--inevitably the chunks we find disagreeable, scary, unacceptable! We become whole--by the grace, wisdom, and compassion of God--by continually enlarging our hearts and minds to take in the reality of our lives, inner and outer. The best 'practical grace' to do this I've ever experienced is mindfulness meditation.
